Amish Country Theater

Amish Country Theater is in the old flea market building. The theater interior resembles the inside of a barn. The shows are variety shows that are appropriate for adults and children. Blue Grass Band, Amish humor, Audience Participation, etc. This runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday and closes in the winter.  This is the most family friendly, funny theater in Amish Country Ohio.

Cinemark Movies 10

Cinemark Movies 10 is about a 30-40 drive north of Amish Country near Wooster, Ohio.  For those people that just need to see the latest movie releases this is the place to go.  They are surrounded restaurants if you want to catch a meal while you are there.

Ohio Light Opera

Ohio Light Opera: Located on the campus of the College of Wooster, their season runs June through August each year. Some describe the shows as “a musical but with more singing than speaking”

Schoenbrunn Amphitheatre

Schoenbrunn Amphitheatre: Paul Green, a pulitzer prize winning playwright, wrote Trumpet in the Land and White Savage. They have been hosting shows for over 40 years. Shows run Monday-Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Guests may sign up for a backstage tour at 6:30 p.m. where they will meet the actors and hear about the special effects used in the play. This is an outdoor venue so shows are both seasonal and weather permitting.

Theater at Carlisle Inn

Theater at Carlisle Inn is a theater in the round. New in 2012 they have featured musical comedies based on Beverly Lewis and Wanda Brunstetter books. They are adapted in a way that is entertaining for the entire family. They offer matinee and evening performances with selected schedules.  This is the favorite theater in Amish Country Ohio for the innkeepers.
